         a U.S. federal judge sentenced more than 15 years in prison  Uzbekistan to the men on charges of terrorism and using weapons to threaten
would kill U.S. President Barack Obama, according to U.S. prosecutors.
      Kodirov Ulugbek (22) was sentenced to 15 years and eight months in prison for giving material support to terrorism, threatening to kill the president and has illegal firearms.

      Kodirov, who entered the United States with legal visas but then was in country illegally, be deported to Uzbekistan after he completed
punishment.
       "The case has a happy ending, Kodirov be imprisoned for over 15 years and not one was hurt, "said Attorney Joyce White Vance.

        Kodirov was arrested on July 13, 2011, at a motel in Alabama, after trying to purchase of explosives and weapons from an undercover agent. He pleaded guilty to all charges in February.
     As part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, admitted that he Kodirov communicating with a suspected member of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan identified as the "Emir" who advised him to kill Obama.
U.S. State Department lists the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan as foreign terrorist organization.

       "The case shows the continuing threat posed by extremist militants in country and how law enforcement worked together to neutralize the plot like that, "said assistant attorney general for national security, Lisa Monaco.

       Kodirov enter the United States from Uzbekistan in June 2009 on a student visa which was removed in April 2012 after he failed to enroll in school. but he did not leave the United States.
